This is roughly the route we're going to take, but we will be using GPS and smart phone technology to hopefully show you exactly where our tires cover the track - Oooooh! Also, we'll be providing words and photos to further illustrate our excitement, views, fatigue and accomplishments.

Ok, so I think I've packed everything now and am starting to feel the nerves a little. But what can go wrong in 250 mile cycle over hills, through town centres and on busy roads all whilst following a caravan as a support/accommodation/1st aid/office. Alright I guess it could get interesting!
ReplyDeleteThe bikes on the map are pointing the wrong way, but that's unavoidable. Bikes look better than pins, or blobs. I need to go to sleep now, but I can't.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you all. You will do Mr. Bestardo proud. Have a great trip and hope you all don't suffer from saddle sores too much ouch. Get there safely and enjoy. All our love and wishes,
ReplyDeleteTim and Trudie and Co. xxxx
Whats the progress?
ReplyDeleteGood luck guys. Bet you will nail it. Wish i could be there :(
Blimey the weather wasn't very good today. Glad to hear you have a follow up vehicle/caravan and that you aren't having to carry loads of tents etc.
ReplyDeleteWas in Cornwall over the last few days. Was twice on the beach next to Carbis bay. Thought about Bestie - couldn't get to that beach though coz we have dogs - wanted to though.
